Stunning Image Quality9/23/2011
As per usual, Viewsonic delivers with this inexpensive monitor. I replaced a 7 year old Viewsonic whose power supply failed. This monitor will not disappoint you. Brightness and contrast levels are so far reaching in either direction that you will find yourself setting their levels somewhere in the middle. That cannot be said about some LCD monitors. The only flaw that I have seen is the quality of the buttons on it. They are cheap and require the perfect touch to work. Reminds me of the old TI calculators of the early 80s with their bad buttons.
Great Buy Widescreen Monoitor8/11/2011
I really like this widescreen monitor though it takes some getting use to. Really good buy for the money. Easy to set up. Big difference from that big old bulky monitor. Such a nice access on my desk. Love it could be happier.
Great value, but no DVI cable???3/15/2011
Great price for a Full HD monitor. Although I was disappointed to open the box and find only a VGA cable? For an HD monitor, I was expecting the proper cable to be included :(
Great Monitor - If you are using Windows Vista or1/16/2011
I bought this display to replace one on an office PC that runs Windows XP Pro SP3. Couldn't get it to work at all on that or another similarly configured XP machine... at any resolution, and I even installed the included drivers. When I plugged into Windows 7 machines, the display worked fine, no drivers needed! Viewsonic support gave up and I ended up sending it back. I'd recommend it on Windows 7, the picture is great, and the onboard speakers are good if you don't need hi-fidelity. Its very thin and lite, and looks nice when setup.
Great monitor for a great price1/8/2011
This was really easy to hook up and the quality of the image is pretty awesome.
Easy on aging eyes1/8/2011
I bought this for my parents for christmas to replace their 15" LCD monitor. Santa set it up for them using large fonts and icons. The screen is nice and bright, and the speakers work great reducing desktop clutter. All of this makes computing much more enjoyable for them. I have had great luck with Viewsonic brand products and Buy.com over the years and was confident that this purchase from 2000 miles away would be delivered on time and perform as advertised.
Super, Clear monitor1/8/2011
I really like the new monitor but it does seem to enhance the width more than I like which distorts the pictures. I had a difficult time understanding the directions once I found them on line. I would have like to have had them included in the shipping box. It is much clearer than the monitor I previously had which was only a couple of yrs. old.
Good buy for conscientious consumer1/8/2011
Very happy with this monitor, although I would not rely on the built-in speaker to satisfy. Quick delivery, easy set up, looks good on our desk, nice clear text delivery. I don't believe I will buy such a wide screen next time, but that is a personal preference. Buy with confidence, but don't throw away your old peripheral speakers.
Viewsonic's da bomb.12/29/2010
I'm a computer retailer and Viewsonic is the only brand we carry - mostly because of their 3 year warranty. In 6 years I've only had a problem with 2. CON: If you DO have to send it in, it takes them 6-8 weeks to get it back to you
