Living with the Waltons
While liked this Walton's movie, I have to say it was weird seeing other people play "Olivia & John". I liked the story and most of the people in it, I did not like the kids language some times or their talking back to their parents. I mean in the "regular: Waltons tv show "Olivia & John" would have never let them use some of the words "language" that the kids used. Also, I don't think that "Olivia" would have said talked about some of the things that she did in the movie. About John telling off the preacher and such. Grandma would have been more involved also. I I loved the outdoor cinematography. I liked how the scenes that were shot put you right there in the depression. I mean the way they dressed, how their surroundings looked, I loved that the most. You could actually get a idea of what it might have been like to live back then or to even remember what it was like. They also had a lesson to learn in all of their shows. They had values, honesty, integerity and togetherness as a family. All in all I loved the movie and am glad to "own" it. The Waltons has always been and will continue to be my favorite "old" tv show.
