All''s quiet in the small town of Holliswood, the television sets a-glow in every home. But not all is as perfect as it seems.

Only one person can stop him and his thugs from destroying the city and everyone living there. Daniel X assembles an all-star team of his own creation, but not even he could imagine the enormity of this made-for-TV-villain''s powers.

Annotation:
Continuing to work his way down his murdered parents' master-list of evil aliens, Daniel X is now after Number 5, a catfish-like creature with electrical powers. Number 5 attacks through his galactic reality show, and Daniel must act fast to save the lives of the residents of Holliswood who are unwittingly enticed by the show's lure of 15 minutes of fame. This is bestselling phenom James Patterson's follow-up to THE DANGEROUS DAYS OF DANIEL X.
Author Bio
James Patterson
James Patterson grew up in Newburgh, New York, 50 miles north of New York City. Valedictorian of his class at the Christian Brothers school, St. Patrick's, in 1965, Patterson graduated from Manhattan College with a degree in English. He first entertained the idea of becoming a writer in 1971 when he worked as a college student in a mental institution, a job that afforded him abundant time to read. He came up with the idea for his first novel during that time, and five years later, after 26 rejection slips, his first effort, "The Thomas Berryman Number", appeared in bookstores. Since that time, Patterson has written numerous best-selling thrillers featuring the sensitive, modern-day hero Alex Cross, including "Kiss the Girls", which was made into a major motion picture starring Morgan Freeman.
