Annotation:
Bestselling romance author Fern Michaels exchanges her usual tale of love for one of revenge in this first volume in the Sisterhood series. Myra Rutledge discovers that she is not able to legally go after the driver who ran over and killed her pregnant daughter. Angry and frustrated, Myra and her daughter's friend Nikki find five other wronged women unable to find restitution through the courts, and the seven band together to enforce their own brand of justice.

Author Bio
Fern Michaels
Fern Michaels grew up in Hastings, Pennsylvania, got married, and had five children before she picked up a pen to begin writing what would turn out be one best-selling romance after another. One of the most consistent bestselling romance writers of the '80s and '90s, Michaels writes mostly steamy historical romances with heavy doses of passion, seduction, and torrid adultery. Divorced from her first husband, she dedicates much of her time to philanthropic concerns, having set up the Fern Michaels Foundation, which grants scholarships to students in need. She also set up affordable pre-school and day-care centers for struggling single mothers.
