Meg (Mira Sorvino), Raychel (Mariah Carey), and Kate (Melora Walters) are waitresses at a Staten Island Italian restaurant with a mob-heavy clientele. Meg is a former med student new to the Island. Kate is a take-no-guff native. Kate is a would-be actress who has moved from Manhattan. As the three girls bond amongst the male-dominated business, Meg is witness to a murder--which puts her life in danger.
