This card performs nicely. I haven't had any trouble running games like World of Warcraft. The only negative I wanted to mention is the fan that's attached. After having the card a few weeks, the fan began to vibrate LOUDLY. I pulled the card out to take a look and saw that the fan is being held down by two elastic pins rather than screws. I can only speculate that over time, the pins lost some of their elasticity and the fan was able to start vibrating. To give you an idea, I can now hear the fan over games (e.g. Warcraft) while wearing headphones. I also now have to turn the computer off at night, since it's in the bedroom and the noise keeps me awake. Having to turn the computer off isn't that big of a deal, but it illustrates the problem with noise from the fan. It's possible to disconnect the fan's power source (which is what I did temporarily to verify the problem), but I'm somewhat afraid to do this, worrying that the card may overheat (they must have put the fan there for SOME reason other than to torture people). Since the fan has forced me to alter the way I use my computer, I'm pretty unsatisfied with the product as a whole. Other than the fan, I have no complaints at all.

One of the best Video Cards EVER!

by Stuart Hill on 3/23/2007

I was currently using the on-board Intel video card on my Dell computer, but my new Viewsonic monitor was too much for it to handle. I ordered this card and it arrived quickly. I installed it easily, disabled the on-board card, and fired it up. Instead of using the DRIVERS CD that came with it, I had already downloaded the latest WinXP drivers from NVidea, so I used those. I works great and is very quiet and efficient. I am not a MAJOR GAMER, but the games I have played so far are 500% faster than on the old card. I think it was a MAJOR bargain considering all of the features, and it runs my WinTV card better, too.
