Editor's Note Based on the life of Bill Tiglhman, a real life cowboy who rode with the Earps. Tiglhman (Elliott) turns to making authentic Western films in the days of silent film in order to offset the phony heroics of the screen cowboys, but is met with resistance by a public that wants glitz.

Cowboys and sheriffs long ago became staples characters and sometimes cliches in Hollywood films. You Know My Name doesn't exactly shine any new light on the subject. Despite a fairly interesting twist on a familiar premise, there is little excitement to latch onto and this movie is another you can add to the long list of modern-day Western bores...You Know My Name is for only the hardcore Western fan. It is for those who grew up with the genre, want to reminisce over old times and are happy to see them still being made, even if they're of low quality. Except for that rather limited audience, there is no other good reason to watch, unless you're a connoisseur of boring movies. - Ryan Cracknell
