The ZyXEL MWR211’s small size makes it easy to take with you wherever you go; the built-in battery allows you to truly use it anywhere. With support for both Ethernet and most popular USB mobile broadband adapters, you can share your Internet connection regardless of whether you are on the road or sitting at home. The router’s built-in SPI firewall, with anti-DoS attack shield and NAT functions, provides protection from threats from the Internet or known networks.
Share Always-On Internet Access
The built-in USB port works with most popular mobile broadband adapters. You will find a complete list of supported adapters at www.us.zyxel.com. Your mobile connection can act as your primary Internet connection or as a backup connection, should your wired connection go down. With its built-in rechargeable battery, the router can be used during power outages or while you are on the road. The MWR211 supports adapters from all the major US carriers[ii]so if you change your ISP, you won’t have to replace the router.
If you are using a metered mobile connection, don’t worry. The MWR211 can keep track of your data usage and send you an alert when you are about to exceed you plan’s limit.
