Customer Reviews of ZyXEL PLA401v3 HomePlug AV 200 Mbps Powerline Wall-plug Adapter
Don't buy Zyxel products. I've had 7 pla401 all versions v1 to v3 and all have failed. One (a replacement) failed in 5 minutes, others lasted a couple of years. But they all failed.

Please note that this device uses radio frequencies broadcast (and received) on your unshielded home power lines. These frequencies are shared with many other uses. This means if you have a ham radio operator in the area, you may lose your network when he transmits. Also, this device will interfere with various types of radios you might try to listen to.
