Too slow

by Jassie on 7/15/2013

This is my experience with this item. I had very high expectations for this product when I ordered as I have problem receiving the signal in my master bed room second floor and thought this will resolve the issue. The product disapponted me big time. I have Airlink 101 small usb n device I was using and replaced it with this. There is absolutely no difference in the speed. The speedtest shows any where 7mbps to 11mbps. The unit is rated 500mbps in perfect world Also I noticed with this unit the I cant even play 420p youtube videos. There is buffering happening all the time which I dont see with my Airlink. I paid for only $9 for my Airlink which is much efficient than this $100 unit. My house is only 10 year old and all wiring is current. So in my case this item did not work. I am going to investigate desk top built in wireless PCN card and see if that helps. Thanks Amazon for no hassle returns!!!! Read More
