We are a company obsessed with creating active-lifestyle products for you and your dog. But we weren’t always like this. Back in the day, we were just two aerospace engineers trying to play ultimate frisbee at night with our friends. This passion for night-time sports drove us to research effective-light up gear. We quickly discovered that most of today’s safety and visibility gear is terribly outdated– and has no real basis in visual science! This started our journey to develop research-backed safety products that actually work with the way the human eye perceives color, patterns, and movement. We put our energy into creating light-up vests for unconventional runners and walkers who want the freedom to adventure safely at all hours of the day and night. We re-engineered safety gear for busy parents and athletes who don’t let darkness stop them from getting in the workout they need, and for dog owners who want their best friend to be visible at all times–to drivers, to passersby, and when playing with other dogs.
