Its founder, Rene Furterer, started his love of botanics in Provence, France. His study of the rich flora around his grandmother's space brought him to believe that hair springs-forth from the scalp, much like plants from the earth. As a hairdresser at his wife's Parisian salon, he developed a method called Etheirology that focuses on the scalp's health. He practiced this method in three steps: Prepare, cleanse and treat.
