12 Non-Alcoholic Drinks You Can Serve All Your Guests on New Year’s Eve

For New Year’s Eve celebrations, I have a suggestion for hosts and hostesses of the season: Make a non alcoholic drink option with the same care that you put into your cocktail bar. The designated drivers, kids and sober folks will appreciate you. Walking around with a juice or a can of soda just doesn’t say “festive” in the same way, and sometimes makes you feel singled out. Here are best non alcoholic drinks for your final toast of 2019!
For the kids: Classic, but make it special.
Citrusy, Bright and Bubbly Drinks: It’s not fancy unless it has bubbles.
Adult Mocktail: Virgin cocktails that feel like the real thing.
Herbal: Complex flavors for special occasions.
Seasonal: The flavors of Christmas. One for peppermint candy canes, one persimmon and of course, an apple cider (with bonus track, cranberry!).
Setting up a bar with a decorative mocktail recipe board or having a “bartender” to mix the New Year’s drinks adds to the evening flair. Other touches might include special ice cubes, like large spheres, or tinsel wrapped around martini glass stems. Your fancy mocktails will be perfect to help everyone ring in the new year and reflect on the last.
