Yes, we can admit it. We are all in line to get our PSL (Pumpkin Spice Latte) like addicts during our favorite time of year. Well, Starbucks has all of my money now, so I’m looking for inspiration to make my own at home. We’ve captured some of the best copycat recipes of our favorite brews during the fall, including the newest pumpkin spice cold brew.
Rakuten Recipes: Cinnamon Dolce Latte
I’m enjoying the Cinnamon Dolce Latte (sure, it’s pretty similar to the PSL) and prefer mine not so sweet. Here’s my recipe:
4 oz espresso
½ C whole milk
½ t brown sugar
½ t white sugar
¼ scant teaspoon cinnamon
½ t vanilla extract
Pour your espresso into a heat safe mug. Heat the milk in the microwave for 90 seconds. Add the sugars, cinnamon and vanilla. Blend or froth the milk for 30 seconds on high speed. Add the milk to the espresso and serve. Add up to ½ t more white sugar if you prefer.
Pumpkin Spice Latte
Let’s start with what we’re all here for. The real deal probably doesn’t have much actual pumpkin, but does it matter? If you’re looking for a Keto Pumpkin Spice Latte, this one only has 2g net carbs!
I’m not sure why the salt is not available at other times of year because it should just be the standard. Although it’s not standard, I think the Frappucino recipes using coffee ice cubes improves on the original (not to mention stronger).
I’m not sure when Starbucks put a label on spiced apple cider, but this recipe includes instructions for making your own dolce cinnamon syrup! This can be used in other drinks, too, but drizzled on the whipped cream here is making us all cheer for fall.
Next, I’ll be looking for a good homemade pink drink recipe. If you have one, you clearly like saving money, just like the rest of us. Whether you need a good french press, a milk frother or delicious single-origin coffee, you can find the best deals and earn Cash Back when you shop with Rakuten.
