Why are my card authorization funds held?

At the time your order is placed, electronically contacts the card issuer to verify that sufficient funds were available to cover the cost of your order, otherwise known as an authorization.

This authorization places a brief hold on the funds, but then automatically releases them back to your account.

If your authorization funds are still held, this would be due to the policies of your financial institution. Please contact them for more information as to how to have your authorization removed.
