Based in Austin, Texas, Shop LC began life in 2007 as TJC (The Jewelry Channel), a vendor offering jewelry and gemstones on cable TV. Following the financial crisis, the name changed to Liquidation Channel in anticipation of a need to wind down operations and liquidate stock.
