Review Talk about "been there, done that." There's probably not a single moment in Robert Moresco's mob drama 10th & Wolf that hasn't been seen on screen dozens of times before. It's Donnie Brasco meets any given episode of The Sopranos as Tommy (James Marsden), a disgraced Gulf War marine, returns home to his South Philly neighborhood and reunites with his brother Vincent (Brad Renfro) and cousin Joey (Giovanni Ribisi), now two young gangsters running the local show...It's not all the script's fault, however. The three leads are all badly miscast and, as a result, further fail to engage our sympathy.

Review "Crash" co-scripter Robert Moresco makes his helming bow in "10th & Wolf," a lackluster actioner about a Marine turned reluctant informant to save his Mafia-implicated family. Very loosely based on the true story of Joseph Pistone, the real "Donnie Brasco," pic throws together gangster archetypes and set pieces, relying heavily on exposition to stand in for character development...Perfunctory love interest is supplied by Piper Perabo as a bartending widow with an asthmatic child, while Leslie Ann Warren, as Joey's mother, tearfully reps a lost generation.
