Product Overview

Welcome to Bogeydom, one of the funniest, murkiest, and most unusually enchanting underground worlds ever created!

In the vast underground construct called Bogeydom live the blissfully disgusting Bogeys, who spend heir days wallowing in their own filth. Come night time, they venture "up there," into the world of the humans, and, when these two worlds collide, everything filthy about the Bogeys is threatened by one impossibly wholesome family.

Reviews
ReviewSource The SF, Horror and Fantasy Film Review
Review This British-Canadian mini-series has the novelty of being shot live and with CGI animated bogey characters drawn over the top of the actors' performances a la The Polar Express (2004)...In conception, the mini-series of Fungus the Bogeyman comes out somewhat like a combination of The Borrowers (1997) with its secret world of people that hide in the shadows and steal from humans, and The Garbage Pail Kids (1986). The plot is also not dissimilar to Pixar's Monsters, Inc. (2001)...The CGI characters are amazingly expressive, even though the animation is much more low-tech than that in The Polar Express. The bogeys are all extremely likeable and very convincing characters, coming as they do with the wry British provinciality of Raymond Briggs's writing. The mini-series is played with a perfectly droll sense of humour.
