Performance

Chamer of Secrets was a big disappointment! All of the actors walked through their roles. There was no depth.. nothing, they seemed uninspired..bored. When I saw the first movie I was blown away by how incredible it was. What a fantastic job they did at creating a book of this nature. I was equally impressed by the young actors, unfortunately none of that was true of Chamber of Secrets. Again they omitted Peeves, and cut all of the most interesting parts from the book, and added parts that never were in the story. Lockhart whom I looked forward to, to be as intertaining as he was in the book did a complete injustice to the character. I don't blame the actors but rather the screen play writers and director. I shudder to think what they will do to my favorite book in the series "The Prisoner of Azkabon". One can only hope a new director will re-inspire the magic of the first movie. In short if you enjoyed the book, the movie will be a BIG disappointment.

-Morgan quote

While some people will claim that this movie was a big disappointment, I believe that they are taking this way too seriously. This movie still contains all of the magic that the book does, it is just displayed in a different way. Overall, I felt that this movie was just a good as the first movie. Of course there are going to be some scenes that differ from the book, but if they went straight by the book the movie would be something like four hours long. If you are a big fan of the Harry Potter Series then this is a must have. I have already pre-ordered this and the 5th book, which is due out in June. This is a movie that can be enjoyed by people of all ages.
