I am a college math instructor, and this is the calculator I recommend. I own the TI-84 Plus Silver, and I still recommend this one because it covers so many topics so well. Even if you are not going to be an Engineer, I recommend this one to help get you through all of your current and future math courses.

Great Engineering Calculator
