Review [2] I Still Know What You Did Last Summer (which, to be accurate, should be called I Still Know What You Did Two Summers Ago) is a box office-driven sequel that re-hashes the already-tired approach and storyline of its predecessor, I Know What You Did Last Summer. Both films take standard horror cliches and plot elements, throw them together with little evidence of style or intelligence, and hope people will pay money to see the cinematic refuse that results. If there's a blessing, it's that the sequel isn't appreciably worse than the original - but that's slim praise considering how bad the first one was.

Review [3] The acting was far better than I would have thought. I expected to be annoyed by some of the characters, because in most of these direct to video features there's bound to be at least one. The only thing to annoy me here is the rock band that Zoe is in, rock bands fronted by characters in films are now becoming cliche...Overall, if you are wondering, the production values look very high (but obviously not as high as the other 2 films) the picture is slick, and the editing and photography are excellent and highly impressive, it does not look like the uber cheap production you would expect.

Review [1] The best shot in this film is the first one. Not a good sign. "I Know What You Did Last Summer" begins dramatically, with the camera swooping high above a dark and stormy sea, and then circling until it reveals a lonely figure sitting on a cliff overlooking the surf. The shot leads us to anticipate dread, horror and atmospheric gloominess, but, alas, it is not to be...After the screening was over and the lights went up, I observed a couple of my colleagues in deep and earnest conversation, trying to resolve twists in the plot. They were applying more thought to the movie than the makers did. A critic's mind is a terrible thing to waste.
