A Gory, Goofy Adventure
Suda 51 returns in his second game for a Nintendo console. This time around, the basic mechanics of the game are easily accesible and the story is so over the top and nonsensical as to be completely hilarious. If you have any misgivings about the gameplay, at least stick around for the mindblowing finale. The biggest things holding the game back from unbridled greatness are all techinical. The forced "open world" segments are too long, feel clunky, and are downright hideously ugly. However, the graphics during the actual missions are great, and the art style is a nice change of pace. It's a fun game, and if you can bully your way through the open world segments, you'll have fun with this one of a kind game.
