Just like my dad's headphones when I was a kid.
Shipping was slow, but hey, it was free. The headphones are very comfortable and easy to adjust. I have a big head, and there isn't excessive pressure on my ears or the area around them. They're moderately efficient, partly because of the circumaural design, partly because of the large drivers. The passive isolation is fairly middle of the road. The sound quality is excellent. No joke, you can pick out what mp3's you have that are low bitrate/bad rips just by closing your eyes and listening. I have a buddy that's a recording engineer and he was quite impressed with them. He said if you wanted to listen to music with these with a level eq, you'd have to bump up the 500-1.5khz range by a few db's, and drop down the 15k and higher ranges to get a pretty reference set of cans. The look is awesome, as far as I'm concerned. Partly because they remind me of the headphones my dad used when I was a kid. The only real difference would be that his had a curly headphone cord that terminated in a 1/4" plug rather than these that have a straight cord ending in a 3.5mm mini plug.
