Ease of Use

I read all of the reviews and the people who said this will work with Xbox Live are incorrect. First of all, this has a 3.5mm plug, and the Xbox 360 Controller uses a 2.5mm jack. So, I ordered an adapter and 3 days later, tried to use it. No sound. Nothing. Did not work, people could not hear me.

Great Headphones

by Jay on 8/25/2009

These headphones are great. Not sure why the review includes "graphics" "difficulty" and "gameplay". Maybe I can see gameplay because it is audio. I can only complain about a few items and they may mean nothing to others. The mic tucks away nicely into the headphones, however, it is on the left side. All my past headsets have had the mic on the right, its a little odd that they wouldn't stick with what everyone else is doing. They are BIG! not really heavy but you can definitely feel them on your head. You look like you should be landing planes. The sound is amazing though, at first I thought they sounded muffled until the action started happening. They have a much fuller range of sound than my past headphones. You get more of a punch as they respond to lower frequencies. Booms go BOOM! The padding could have been made from different material. I find myself getting hot wearing them, they make me want to turn up my AC a notch.

I just got these, plugged them in and started playing my favorite games, The sound quality is amazing. They are surprisingly comfortable and not to heavy despite there size. I would recommend these to anone who loves playing FPS game, you can hear everything perfect. I read a lot of reviews before buying these most people said that the mic annoyed them, I have had headsets with the mic on both sides, the only thing is the mic on these is far away, it still can detect my voice great though so I don't mind. That's really the only thing I can think of thats wrong with these. Oh, the cord isn't as long as most headsets, which is great for me because I use the plugs on the back of my keyboard for the headsets. For the people who say it needs more bass, these have the most bass I've ever heard on any headphones I've used. 5/5.
