It Is a 120Vac device, the description is incorrec

It is mis labeled on the description. I called their customer support and they did verify it is 120vac. They explained that they are a licensed retailer of Polk Audio and only sell in the USA and all their items for sale are indeed 120vac. I ordered it and received it a week later and it is a 120vac input. Speaker looks good and works excellent. The only complaint I have is that it does not handle higher level subwoofer inputs as well as hoped. (My H/T system is 105w per channel) However after some adjusting and fine tuning, it serves it's purpose and delivers great sound/bass. Overall I am happy. If you are looking to rattle the windows and move furniture around the room, I would recommend buying the larger PSW12 instead. Overall this a good value for the price, and I do give it a 2 thumbs up.
Sound is excellent. Built solid. Not to booming. Plenty of volume to match the other speakers in my system. No LFE input, but you can easily just plug into the L input or split to both L and R input. Overall an excellent subwoofer, especially for the price.
If you have satellite speakers, then you might get away with this bass performance. If you have full range speakers, then this subwoofer won't do you much good. Make sure that you are putting it in a small room. I have the Polk PSW10, which performs much better...goes deeper and louder. If I had an extra $100, I would have gone with a better performing sub.
But, for less than a $100......
The Polk Audio 10" powered subwoofer PSW10 is nicely designed and attractive (as much as a cube can be). It had very good instructions and was easy to install in my home theater system. Following the recommended settings in the manual gave a very satisfactory performance - good, strong low bass without distortion nor interference with other speakers. When the earth should shake (movies), it does!
The PSW10 offers a clean, stylish look with powerful, accurate and musical bass in a compact enclosure. Built for speed, power and value, the PSW10 is a great introduction to high performance bass for movie and music listening.
