If these effects continue and become troublesome, contact your veterinarian.UsageDorzolamide should be instilled as directed by your veterinarian. Do not touch the dropper or tube opening to any surface, including your eyes or hands. The dropper or tube opening is sterile. If it becomes contaminated, it could cause an infection in the eye.CautionsThis medication does not have an FDA approved indication for use in animals, but it is a common and acceptable practice for veterinarians to prescribe this human medication for use in animals. Make sure to tell your veterinarian what other medication you are giving to your animal. Quite often your veterinarian may prescribe two different medications, even if a drug interaction may occur. In this case, your veterinarian may vary the dose and/or monitor your animal more closely. Contact your veterinarian if your animal experiences any unusual reactions when different medications are given together. Allergic reactions to medications may occur.
