How do product returns work?
All products sold by DataVision contain a warranty directly from the manufacturer. Requests for returns for exchange or credit must be made within 30 days of receipt.
Packages will not be accepted without this RMA number and will be returned to you via the designated carrier.
Items not received in the condition they were sent are subject to a restocking fee of a minimum of 15%.
All returned product must be accompanied with the original manufacturer box, packaging, and factory included accessories. If you do not include all of these, the return will be refused.
To obtain an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization), please contact us via email.
Mail back insured with a traceable method, and do not write ANYTHING on the mfg box.
Below is a breakdown of policies and returnable items:
Defective within 30 days + Replacement = NO RESTOCK FEE.
Defective within 30 days + Refund = Minimum 15% restock fee, we are happy to send another unit.
No longer want within 30 days + Refund = Minimum of15% restock fee.
No longer want within 30 days + Replacement = No restock fee if SEALED NEW in box.
Damaged / Lost in shipping + Repair /Replace = No restock fee.
Sent wrong item (seller fault) + Refund /Replace = NO restock fee, buyer pay NO shipping back to us.
In the event the item is not sent back in the condition it was mailed to you (scuffs, dents, dings), a restocking fee of greater than 15% will be assessed.
If order is returned to us due to an insufficient address, refused, or customer is not home for a signature, the order will be refunded less the shipping costs incurred both ways.
We are also an authorized service and repair center for most manufacturers. We will test defective returns and if they are found to be working, a restocking fee will apply.
Printer Return Policy
If you want to return a printer, please contact us prior at 888-888-2087. In many cases, customers forget to open the ink properly, and setup thep printer correctly out of the box.
PrinterReturns for Exchange
We can issue you an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number for an exchange of another new printer. Your printer must be returned in like new condition, with no scuffs or dents, and be returned in the original manufacturer's packaging, inclusive of all factory included accessories, manuals and cables.
***Please REMOVE YOUR INK CARTRIDGES and keep them. Your brand new, never used printer which will be mailed to you in exchange of the defective will not include additional ink / toner.
Printer Returns for Refund
We can issue you an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number for an refund. Your printer must be returned in like new condition, with no scuffs or dents, and be returned in the original manufacturer's packaging, inclusive of all factory included accessories, manuals and cables.
***Please REMOVE YOUR INK CARTRIDGES and keep them. We will refund you in accordance of our normal return policy, and deduct the cost of replacement ink cartridge
In the event your printer is mailed back with used ink / toner, we will email you to see if you would like it returned. If you decide you do not want it returned, we will discard it.
Contact the Manufacturer
Another option is to contact the manufacturer directly for an exchange. In many cases, they will send you the printer (without new ink) at no cost to you, with a prepaid return label to get the defective unit back. Since you purchased from an authorized retailer, this should not be a problem. Should you need an additional copy of your authorized dealer invoice, we can send another one to you.
The following items are ONLY returnable IF and ONLY if they are sealed in box, never opened, and not powered on.
-Ink and Toner
Swagway units may only be returned if unused, in original packaging, and all original contents (charger, charging cord, & instruction manual) are included in the original packaging.
Returns will not be accepted if there are any signs of use or is missing any of the original contents.
In the case of a manufacturer defect, customers can contact Swagway toll free (844) 299-0625.
Television purchases are special orders and can only be cancelled prior to shipment of the TV. Customers can not cancel a TV order that is in route. There are no returns for tv's 32" and larger.
DO NOT SIGN the delivery manifest until you have inspected the TV. This is a waiver of damage and we are unable to make any transit/damage claims once this is released.
If the merchandise is damaged, please note the manifest, and call immediately.
If there is concealed damage, it must be reported within 48 hours of receipt. Reports outside this window are not able to be claimed.
If you are refusing the delivery of the TV and it is undamaged, you are responsible for the shipping, handling, and insurance charges on the round trip.
Defective TV's 32" and larger are repaired directly by the mfg. We can not return them. They are fully covered by the mfg and service is completed in the home at no charge.
