• You can use Instacart on the web, but it’s built for the mobile app and it’s much easier to use that way. Download the mobile app — available through the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store — so you can more easily browse local grocery stores and get your delivery on the go.

• Delivery fees are lowest on orders over $35. Make sure you place a large enough order to avoid extra small-order fees that may apply to orders that don’t hit the $35 threshold.

• If you use Instacart a lot, you may want to try Instacart+. An Instacart+ membership provides a variety of benefits, including unlimited free delivery on orders over $35 and lower service fees on every order. You can also get 5% back in credit on eligible pickup orders, and Instacart’s partners may occasionally offer exclusive benefits for you to take advantage of. An Instacart+ membership can be worth it with as few as one or two orders per month, so it may be a good idea if you find yourself regularly placing orders.

• You can get unlimited free delivery for 14 days with an Instacart+ trial. Just sign up for the free trial and you’ll get a sneak peek of what’s waiting for you if you decide to use Instacart+.

• Participating stores on Instacart may accept EBT SNAP for grocery orders, which means you can use it to pay for the staple foods and beverages you order. EBT SNAP does not cover delivery fees or ineligible products, but you can charge those to your credit card instead.
