ToolSmithDirect is an online tool superstore that sell brand name tools at discount prices. We sell tools and equipment ranging from Air compressors, Air Tools, Automotive Tools, Generators, Hand Tools, Lift Equipment, Power Tools, Pressure Washers, Tool Bags and more. Our main brands are Snap-on, Kawasaki, Powerbuilt and Trades Pro. All of our products are new and come with a 30 day money back guarantee and manufacturer warranty.

Shipping Information:
We do not currently ship to PO Boxes, APO Boxes, or FPO Boxes. We use a variety of shippers, some of whom do not allow delivery to PO Boxes. To prevent the need to cancel your order after it has been placed, we do not allow orders to ship to any PO Boxes for any orders. Additionally, there are certain restrictions on exporting certain kinds of technology outside of the United States. These restrictions complicate or prevent our suppliers from shipping products to APO or FPO mailboxes. As a result, we do not ship to any APO Boxes or FPO Boxes.

Return and Tax Policies

Return Policy:
To process a return, please send us a message so we can provide you with a RMA number. The RMA number will only be issued during the 30-day return period which begins on the date of shipment by ToolSmithDirect. Please provide the following information when requesting a RMA: Full Name, Date of Purchase, Return Item(s,)Reason for Return(s), Rakuten Order Number, Mailing Address and let us know if you need a Refund or Replacement. 

For returns due to defect or ToolSmithDirect error we will provide you with an RMA number along with a shipping label and tracking number. Once you have been given a RMA number, you have 3 business days to ship out the item(s) you wish to return. 

For returns due to any other reason besides defect or ToolSmithDirect error we will provide a RMA number but you will be responsible for returning items at their own expense. 

Refunds will only be issued once the item(s) has been received at our location, NO EXCEPTIONS. Once ToolSmithDirect receives the returned item(s) a refund or replacement order will be issued. Please allow for up to 5 business days for processing returns. If any issues come up with processing the refund or replacement we will contact you immediately.

Unauthorized Returns 

Any items returned to ToolSmithDirect without a RA number will incur a non-negotiable 15% restocking fee based on the order amount excluding tax and shipping. 

Refunds vs. Replacements 

Once returned items are received we will issue a refund within 5 business days. We will accommodate replacement orders if inventory is available and only upon request. 

Liability Disclaimer 

ToolSmithDirect is not liable for product that is damaged, lost or stolen during the shipping process for returned items. If an item is damaged, lost or stolen during a return shipment ToolSmithDirect will work with you to ensure the shipping carrier claim is properly opened but all liability falls upon the carrier.

Tax Policy:
At ToolSmithDirect we charge sales tax for items shipped to Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Georgia, Illinois, Minnesota, Nevada.
