The front USB-C port is not used for laptop charging.For Apple users, the UD-ULTC4K can be used as a macbook docking station or mac docking station with supported macOS systems. On macOS, Screen Recording permission is required by the driver to send video data to external displays; this does not record or store your screen.HDCP is not supported, so protected streaming content from services such as Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, Prime Video, or Apple TV+ may not play on displays connected through the dock.
