It prevents and kills fire ants for up to 6 months, while also preventing armyworms, fleas, mole crickets, chinch bugs, sod webworms, and ticks. Lastly, the added fertilizer feeds and strengthens your lawn against Southern stresses like heat and drought. Scotts Turf Builder Southern Triple Action is for use on St. Augustinegrass (including Floratam), Centipedegrass, Zoysiagrass, and Carpetgrass. Apply when weeds are actively growing. We recommend using a Scotts spreader to apply this product. For Scotts broadcast/rotary spreaders, use a setting of 4 1/4. For Scotts drop spreaders, use a setting of 8 1/2. The product must be watered in immediately after application. Do not allow people and pets to re-enter the treated area until watering-in is complete and the surface is dry.
