2019 was a big year at Rakuten. We took a leap of faith and embarked on the biggest change yet. After 20 years as Ebates, we changed our name and our entire brand to Rakuten. Like many changes, it was a rollercoaster ride, but it was worth it. Our rebrand was a multi-year effort during which we directed memorable commercials, formed new partnerships and stayed true to our roots by offering more exciting ways to give you Cash Back.

As a company, we could not be prouder of what we have achieved, and we know we couldn’t have done this without the support of our loyal members who trusted us during this enormous transformation.
