In 2009, the couple created a website to share the photos and referral information they had gathered during their journey. A year later, what had begun as a simple website associated with a home-improvement project had developed into a company based in Palo Alto, California. Today, Houzz brings consumers, design professionals and ideas together with the goal of simplifying the remodeling and interior-design process.
